My goals
I have very simple goals that I wish to attain this semester. I have always thought that I was very computer Savvy until now. Lol. I know my way around the computer which now I know is very basic. When doing the student survey that my teacher asked us to do. I had no idea what a wiki was as well as a podcast. So two of my goals are to learn what those are and how to use them effectively so that I may begin using them in the near future. Atleast I won't look crazy should the topic of them ever surface :-). Another one of my goals is to be more familiar with assistive technologies for people with special needs. I know of some of them but for my own sake I will have to get out and learn more about them and how to utilize them. My dreams are to open a shelter for run away girls as well as a daycare specializing in helping children with special needs. That is something that is going to be beneficial to me for this class as well as my future.

Hi FruityPants,
ReplyDeleteI too had no idea what wiki was. Congratulations on finishing up this semester and I wish you the best of luck at FSU. I think that is great that you plan to open a shelter for runaway girls. Best of luck to you.
Congrats to you on finishing up this semester. I wish you luck at FSU. I am also graduating in May with an Associate Degree in Special Education. I love your goals in life. Strive your the best and reach for the stars. But, no matter what you do always and formost put God First.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I would have described myself as savvy but I didn't feel computer illiterate until I began this class! I'm really interested in learning more about technology that can enhance the learning environment of children with special needs as well. I guess the fun but challenging part about that is it's going to keep changing and advancing. It makes me feel a little intimidated and inadequate sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHi there, I want to wish you well on your upcoming event on your graduation. Keep God first, stay focus, and remember that the sky is the limit. Go for it, you deserve it God bless, Pamela Mckinnon
